PARTNERS:

It is NOT necessary to have a beach partner to participate in the training sessions. However, if you have one already it is recommended that you both attend the same practice sessions in order to develop your team skills. If you plan on participating in any USAV Beach Events, you will need a partner to register with. We will help you find a partner but it is not guaranteed. 

PARENT/PLAYER/COACH RELATIONSHIP

Parents, players and coaches are expected to demonstrate a high standard of ethics and commitment to their partner and USA South Beach Volleyball. If an issue should arise during the season it should be addressed in the following manner:

1. The player should schedule a time to discuss the issue or concern with their coach.
2. If a player is not satisfied, a meeting with the player, parent and coach can be set up with the club director to resolve the issue.
3. Parents should contact a club director if they have an issue with a coach. A parent should not confront a coach during a practice session or tournament.
4. Coaching by a coach or parent during play is illegal in beach volleyball. Coaches are permitted to coach during time outs and between matches only.
